change!

assigned to love, train, and lead. WHAT AN AWESOME BLESSING!
There will be ups and down, but you CAN be totally prepared for them
as they come.
So to keep
up... we will be going through the weeks together creating a precious
bank of memories for you to keep for years to come. As a busy mother
GODDESS of 5, I know how long this time seems to be. Rest assured
that completing meaningful activities during this time will keep you
busy as your baby grows and also help you be more creative in
building a bond between you and your baby.
The
activities listed below will be the First Order of business for your
journey!
Week
1-4 : Things you can do!
- Start e-journaling
- Register online at https://penzu.com/content/products/journals for your free electronic journal. This is a really cool website that makes journaling easy and fun! Add pictures and videos to make it really creative. Keeping a journal will help you document your family history and experiences as they occur. This could be a great way to document your weight, blood pressure, and feelings on a routine basis.
- Get maternity benefits
- Yes I know! Don't be afraid...you must call your insurance company and get your benefits for Maternity Coverage. Be aware that some doctors offices require that you pay any deductible amounts before your delivery actually occurs. Knowing your benefits ahead of time can help you make an informed decision on what provider to choose to support you and your family through this experience. You can print the form below and document the information for your records.
- If you do not currently have insurance, you must get a policy immediately!
- If you have a financial need... you must immediately contact your local Medicaid office in your county. Medicaid eligibility is determined by the amount of income in your household based upon the number of people in your family including your unborn baby. So if you are single, the number your household would be 2.
- Keep in mind, if your are a single living with your parents...Medicaid will consider YOUR income...not your parents.
- If your are single and currently working, they will consider YOUR income.
- If your are married and you are not employed, Medicaid will consider your SPOUSE's income.
- If your are married and you and your spouse are employed, they will consider BOTH incomes.
- Finally, if your are divorced or separated, you will be considered single, therefore only YOUR income will be considered.

- Take a photo
- Take photos weekly to build your e-journal memoirs! Believe me, in years to come you will be glad you did!
- Choose an MD
- Take time to research the mission and background of your future physician. You want to make sure that your provider's standards match your own. For instance, if your are natural guru like myself, you PROBABLY want to deliver NATURALLY...HMMMM.
- If you snag a doctor that is only interested in getting you medicated and dilated, your birthing experience will suffer and who wants that! Choose wisely...your birth experience is at stake.
- Schedule your first appointment
- Be sure to find out your financial responsibility for your upcoming visit! Be aware that even though this is a very exciting time for you and your family, your privacy should be respected. Confidential information about your health and background will be discussed therefore, bear this fact in mind if you will be allowing someone to attend your first appointment with you.
So,
Congratulations Mother Goddess! We got a ways to go, but trips are
so much easier when you are not traveling alone! Let me know how
this week goes for you!
Heart
Ya!
